Rich Labrizzi moves to Key West to simplify his life. In Key West he spends his days working as a scuba instructor and his nights as a barroom preacher. Through a series of events, he learns that he and a good friend may be working for a drug smuggler. He starts to investigate only to have the DEA warn him off and tell him to leave Key West. Rich leaves, but while driving to Miami, he learns that his friend’s daughter has been kidnapped. Suspecting that the drug smuggler is involved, Rich decides to turn back and help his friend. Using resources and skills only a few know he possesses, Rich helps save the little girl and provide the evidence the DEA needs to close down the drug operation.

A very enjoyable read.Throughout the book, the author describes the surroundings with imagery that absolutely invites the reader to visit the Keys.
I liked the interweaving of multiple characters, all relevant to the main story, with their own complexities and dimension. You not only learn about what they are doing, but the author gives you insight into what drives each of them.
I'm looking forward to future books from this author.

Southernmost Point is a great read.
All the characters 'created' by the author are rich, real and believable, which makes the book relevant and timeless. The imagery is depicted very succinctly...making the reader want to visit the Keys.
Alongside the quick paced action/adventure storyline the author, very interestingly, weaves through out the book a subtle message of spirituality and humanity.
All in all a very nicely written book. Can't wait for more from the author...
PS The cover art is great too.
This new writer gives us an exciting view of Key West and the world of scuba diving. His characters are well developed and believable. This novel is relevant and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I was up quite late reading as I couldn't put this book down until I was finished. I am looking forward to more books by this author.
I liked a lot about this book. Clearly the martial arts descriptions were done by an expert. Getting a firearms expert to read your books would be a good idea. There is no such thing as an M15 (described as the civilian version of the M16)
